New Acura vehicles include built-in security technology that’s been designed to protect your radio and entertainment systems. If your radio suddenly stops working and you see the word “CODE” on the central display, you’ll need to unlock the system by learning how to enter an Acura radio code. How to Find Your Acura Radio Code

Your Acura radio should only display the word “CODE” if and when it loses power from the battery. We know how frustrating it can be when the features of your Technology Package or Advance Package stop working. Thankfully, getting things back to normal is a simple, two-step process. Just find the code and use your radio’s buttons to enter it in.  Acura radio code retrieval is the trickiest part, but you can locate it in any of the following places:

• With any new vehicle, the Anti-Theft Radio Identification Card (which shows your Acura radio code) can be found within your owner’s manual. You’ll see two groups of numbers. The first (top) number is your radio code. The second (bottom) number is your serial number.
• In the event that the card is missing, look through your vehicle’s maintenance journal. The technician who first serviced your vehicle will have written the code down in the appropriate location.
• You can also usually find the code in your glove box. A sticker with two numbers displays your radio code and your serial number in the same order identified above. This sticker may also be on the trunk jamb or the door jamb, so check all three locations.
• When all else fails, call Acura and be prepared to present personal identifying information. They can find your radio code and provide it to you over the phone.
